Hospitalist Modifiers
Use modifiers to make codes more accurate and specific in order to increase collections from claims.
- 25 – indicates a visit is separate from a procedure performed on the same day
- 310 – not vaccinated against COVID-19
- 311 – partly vaccinated against COVID-19
- 39 – indicates any other under-immunized status
